By accessing or using Audiocities, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Service

Audiocities is a music streaming and distribution platform that allows users to discover, stream, and share music. Artists can upload, distribute, and monetize their content. The service includes free ad-supported tiers and paid Premium subscriptions.

3. User Accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You may not create accounts for the purpose of impersonation or fraud.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Artist Terms

• Artists retain ownership of all content they upload to Audiocities.
• By uploading content, artists grant Audiocities a non-exclusive, worldwide license to stream, display, and distribute their content on the platform.
• Artists must own or have the rights to all content they upload.
• Revenue sharing: Artists receive 85% of tip revenue and a share of streaming royalties based on play counts.
• Payouts are processed according to our standard payment schedule.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

• Premium subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually).
• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.
• Refunds are handled in accordance with applicable laws and our refund policy.
• Prices may change with notice. Existing subscribers will be notified before price changes take effect.
• All payments are processed securely through Stripe.

6. Prohibited Content and Conduct

You may not use Audiocities to:

• Upload copyrighted content without proper authorization
• Distribute harmful, abusive, or illegal content
• Manipulate play counts or engagement metrics
• Use bots or automated tools to access the service
• Attempt to circumvent any technical measures or security features
• Harass, bully, or threaten other users

7. Intellectual Property

The Audiocities name, logo, and platform design are our intellectual property. You may not use our trademarks without prior written consent. All user-generated content remains the property of the respective creators.

8. Advertisements

Free-tier users may be shown advertisements during their use of the service. These advertisements help support the platform and fund artist royalties. Premium subscribers enjoy an ad-free experience.

9. Limitation of Liability

Audiocities is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the preceding 12 months.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the service at any time, with or without cause. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. Artists may request their content be removed upon account termination.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will provide notice of significant changes.
